Local Artist Completes Exterior Signage for BCC Headquarters
The Better Communities Collaborative is excited to debut our new office signage recently installed on our headquarter building within the Southern Mill Complex in Athens, Georgia.
The BCC Vision
“The unveiling of the Better Communities Collaborative logo on our Athens headquarters is symbolic of our commitment to fostering a family of innovative businesses with the unified mission of working toward a better tomorrow,‘” said Jon Williams, President and CEO of Better Communities Collaborative. “The prominent placement of the BCC logo reflects that, while we may be comprised of a network of individual companies, we are better together in realizing our shared vision of building better communities through innovative design, effective and efficient engineering, and a focus on sustainability and quality of life.”
Sustainable Practices
It was crucial to the BCC team that the logo installation be compatible with the building’s rich colors, intricate brick textures, and historic celebration of Georgian artistry, due to the building’s history as the adaptive reuse renovation of an old textile mill. With that in mind, the BCC set out to identify a local artist to hand paint the firm logo onto the exterior of the building’s front face. Soon into the search, we found the perfect candidate in Levi Dilley.
